    Hi,

    I guess it's the same problem I had a few days ago. Linux comes up on the on
    board graphics card and you have your monitor attached to an additional
    graphics card. Try to switch your monitor cable to the onboard connector.

    Hi.
    I've tried to install SuSe 7.1 (from CD) on SunBlade100 workstation.

    SILO boots.
    Then I try to enter any installation mode.

    Boot: yast2
    Uncompressig image...
    Loading initial ramdisk....
    Remapping the kernel... done
    Booting Linux...

    and at this moment it hangs up.

    I have no idea about this.
