Hello!
I am trying to install the new SUSE 7.3 on a dual UltraSPARC-II Sun
E450. After selecting the YAST2 install option the system goes through
booting the kernel and it gets stuck at the "Searching for infofile". If I
switch to one of the other ttys I can see the installer has detected my HDs
on SCSI ID 0-5 however after that point it gets into some kind of detection
loop on the controller that looks like this:
scsi: aborting command due to timeout : pid 0 scsi 0 channel 0 id 0 lun 0
Inquiry 00 00 00 ff 00
and then a bunch of serial_number_at_timeout=1,2,3,..... and it just keeps
timing out on that controller trying to reset it.
What do I do? What info do you people need from me to better help diagnose
this problem? This is my first time trying to install Linux on a SPARC
environment. Thanks!
