    Subject: boot cdrom drive

Does anyone here know how I can boot from the cdrom drive? I installed a
plextor scsi drive in my ultra 1 machine. It was recognized by the system
installed and i can mount the drive but I am unable to boot.

i set it up as follows:

    SCSI ID 6
    Parity ON
    Termination ON
Block Size ON (I believe this is necessary in order to boot under UNIX
    systems)

when I boot using the "boot cdrom" command I get the following:

    Rebooting with command: boot cdrom
Boot device: /sbus/espdma@e,8400000/esp@e,8800000/sd@6,0:f File and args:
Bad magic number in Disk label
    Can't open disk label package
    Evaluation: boot cdrom

    Can't open boot device

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to make special settings in my cd
burner software when writing the linux cd?
