Subject: linux on an old ipx laptop

hi,

i´m trying to install linux on an old RDI (sun) IPX laptop.
unfortunately if no more specifications from the hardware.
Version 4 Keyboard 32MB RAM and about 5-7 years old.
i tried to install suse linux 7.0 for sparc and redhat 6.2 for sparc.
booting from cdrom-device --> vote yast1 -->
immediately after creating the ramdisk the system hangs up. i´ve
absolutley no idea resolving the problem.
