    Wow, don't throw it away, it could be a sweet Linux machine for minimal stuff and a great learner! If you're throwing it away, then send it here, I'll pay shipping :)

    Hmm. Can't tell. I'd boot it into the lilo prompt, hit tab, boot yast1, and partition up the drives and ask for a minimal install, then start adding packages as needed. Or, you might have better luck with an NFS install if the errors persist..

    You should be able to do quite a lot with 2x200MB and 32MB RAM... as a server I mean, not necessarily as an X workstation, though, depends on what graphics card is in there.. you didn't say..
