7.0 and creator 2d 24bit?

Subject: 7.0 and creator 2d 24bit?

    hey, i currently have an ultra 1 and have the opportunity to inexpensivly
    replace my turbo GX frame buffer with a creater 2D 24bit frame buffer. does
    anyone know if this is supported by suse and X, because it is not a very
    common card, as most people go with the 3d creator card. also, does anyone
    know if this card does any acceleration of 2d or just increase the
    resolution / color depth?
