    Subject: SuSE-Linux on a Sparcstation 5

    Hello together,

i've here a Sparcstation 5 (170 MHz, i know not realy supportet by
    Linux) with a
    Parallax Framebuffer Card.
When i boot from CDROM it work's good up to the point where yast1
    starts.
It's nearly impossible to read the screen, because there a + and - and
    some very strange
caracters on the screen, and the actuall chosen option is not inverse or
    something else.
The efect is: I'm actually not able to set the right keyboard-mapping,
language, etc. and therfore I'm unable to setup this machine.

Are there anybody who have experiences with SuSE-Linux 7.0 SPARC on a
    machine like this one?

    reagards
