    Subject: Problem detecting 2 NIC's

Having successfully installed SuSE 7.0 on my SparcStation 20, I'm attempting to set up the SS20 as a server for a LAN. The SS20 has two ethernet ports. YaST seems to be only able to detect 1 device. I am able to set it up for connecting to my LAN (static 192.168.1.251), but I am unable to set up the other, nor the first, for DHCP, necessary for my cable modem.

This all worked under a RedHat 6.2 installation, so I know it's not a hardware issue. SuSE does a nice job of making many up-to-date packages available for the Sparc- I hate to go back to RH6.2 (which I'm doing now in order to write this email!)

    Your help is greatly appreciated.
