Hallo all,
I have a problem with the installation of 7.1 on
my
Sun Sparc 5
170 MHz - 128 MB
2 GB
Toshiba CDROM.
I try to install from CD's but every time at the
hardware detection something goes wrong... :-(
"Starting hardware detection...
> scsi.2.300: scsi cmd "
... and all stopped.
I don't know why.
If I try to install 7.0 everything looks fine but
I want to have 7.1! ;-)
So I tryed to update by compiling 2.2.18 or 2.4.2:
"make dep" --> OK
"make clean" --> OK
"make bzImage" --> "no rule to make target" ?
Sorry, I don't know much about C so can somebody please
help me?
It would be nice if I only need to install 7.1
and don't need to update from 7.0 ;-)
Thanks a lot to all who read this.
Markus
