I have a Sparc 5/170 with 132 megs of memory. I installed 7.0 and
upgraded to 7.1. What I believe happened... (Its been a while). I
originally had a spark 5/85 and then purchased a 170 over the net. I
moved everything across to the new system and it worked.
BUT I also believe that I did an install and everything worked also.
This was several months ago. Since the install, this machine has
functioned as our DNS (small web farm). It has been very reliable for
us.
If you have questions feel free to ask.. And I will see if I can
remember!!!!
