Suse Linux 7.1 is running!
Thanks to all who helped me in the last days.
I installed 7.0. Then booted 7.0 from cd...
while booting change the cd to 7.1 ;-)...
and updated.
I'm working on Kernel 2.2.18 and will try 2.4.2
next weeks.
(Sorry I hate to ask this but after compiling
the kernel and install modules where is it?
Shouldn't it be in /usr/src/linux/arch/sparc/boot/?)
Perhaps can somebody tell me why my X is so bad?
256 Colors is not really nice?
My KDE 2 had some problems but "say" nothing about this
to me. It just doesn't come up! Sad.
Do I have to configure something special?
Regards
Markus
