Hi,
I have put a new kernel rpm and tftp image for the Blade 100 on
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/kukuk/SPARC
It based on the current CVS version from Dave Miller (the RPM says
kernel 2.4.5, kernel says 2.4.6-pre1, but it is CVS from today).
linuxrc now knows about the network card and the onboard graphic
card. For the case you have problems with the X11 mode, boot with
the following command from the PROM:
OK > boot net expert=1
"expert=1" means, YaST2 will start in text mode.
It looks like the 3Dlite card is not supported, if you have problems
remove them. There are also reports that a PCI-SCSI-controller will
make problems.
After installation, remove the k_deflt rpm (rpm -e k_dflt) and
install: k_blade-2.4.5-0.sparc64.rpm, modutils-2.4.5-5.sparc.rpm,
usbmgr.rpm, usbutils.rpm and usbview.rpm.
At least run "mk_initrd". Now you should be able to reboot your
machine.
