Hi Thorsten,
I suspected that as well, and changed a lot
of the disks, checked / changed their settings
(parity on/off etc)
The questions is: why don't I see these problems
(or only seldom anyway) when I'm using kernel 2.4.2
instead of 2.2.18 ?

Reseting the SCSI bus every second normally means:
- one disk is broken
- the SCSI cable is not ok
- termination is not ok.
