Subject: [suse-sparc] Large file access on Enterprise 450

I have installed Suse linux 7.1 on a Sparc enterprise 450:
2 X 250Mhz Processors
1 4 gig drive
1 18 gig drive
2.4.5 kernel

I am not able to create files larger than 2G in size. I also mounted a
windows share with large files and ls reports them as the wrong size.
I know I can do large files on Intel hardware. Is there anything that can
be done?
