Hi all,
I'm trying to compile different kernels on my SS5:
- Kernel 2.2.19 SuSE works
- Kernel 2.4.4 and Kernel 2.4.5 plain vanilla fail in
compiling "memory.c" in "linux/mm": It complains
about too many and incompatible args in the macros
"pte_alloc" and "pmd_alloc", so the compilation of
"memory.o" fails.
Question: It seems I'd need some patches to these
kernels: Where can I get them ?
I'm using standard SuSE 7.1 development environment,
upgraded modutils to 2.4.6-1
Thanks, Thomas
