Subject: kde 2.1 under 7.0 and mozilla 0.8 rpm

    has anyone gotten kde 2.1 working under 7.0? i know its officially for 7.1,
    but worth a shot i though =) i keep coming up with a bad file descriptor
    error when trying to install kde libs, something about not being able to
    unlink a 22x22 icon? any suggestions for me? or should i just go back to
    2.0.1?

    when trying to do the rpm of 0.8 it says my rpm supports only major version
    numbers? this one is mysterious to me. my rpm version is 3.0.4
