I tried installing 7.0 first then upgrading to 7.1 and the beta blew away
my SILO and I couldn't get it working any way shape or form. So I dropped
that and just reinstalled 7.1 again and now I am trying to fix 7.1 to work
again. I guess my problem comes in with SILO. Can anybody give me a hint
as to what I need to do to get this version 7.1 to work with SILO.
I only installed the 32 bit SMP 2.4 kernel, is that the problem?
My system uses disk1 to boot SUSE on sd@1,0
When my system boots gives me the SILO prompt and then tries to uncompress
the image, after several seconds I get an error about the image is too long.
I did run silo -t on a second console to install silo.
Please help.
Wayne
