Dear mailing list,
I am running a Sun Ultra 5 with a 360MHz UltraSparc IIi, 128MB RAM, and the
standard ATI Mach64 video accelerator shipped with the machine. I have
downloaded, compiled, and installed the latest edition of XFree86 under
SuSE 7.0/Sparc running kernel 2.4.2-pre4. However, it does not run
properly: it crashes with a Signal 10. Attached is the server log, which I
have also mailed to xfree86@xfree86.org.
xf86cfg crashes, giving a very verbose message listing a bunch of
unresolved symbols from various .o files in the
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers directory. I can e-mail this log as well, if
you want.
Thanks very much!
Sean Callanan
