Hello,
I've got the iso images and start booting on an Sun UltraSparc 1
maschine,
where SuSE Linux 7.0 for Sparc is installed on it (without Problem at
the
installation).
The system is booting from cdrom, uncompressing the kernel image and
stop at:
.
.
VFS Mounted root (ext2 filesystem)
Unimplemented SPARC System call 69 (!!!!)
>>>> SuSE installation programm v1.1.18
Starting Hardware detection.......
And then the system halted and nothing else is going.
--- On console 3 screen: . . auto2_find_install_medium:696 Looking for a SuSE CD... --- On console 4 screen: . . SCSI host 0 reset (pid 57) timed out again. probably an unrecoverable BUS or DEVICE hang. ---I've copied the new 2.2.18 kernel to my SuSE 7.0 installation and all is running fine...
Can everybody help me in this case ? Thank you.
