    Hi!

    I'm usually doing a 'make vmlinux' on sparc, then I've got the vmlinux in
    the kernel source root directory which I move to /boot/. There is no need to
    run silo every time after installing a new kernel like on i386.
    But you should check the silo.conf, 'cause SuSE is using vmlinuz instead of
    vmlinux.
