    Hm, all kernel include SCSI support. I don't know of any kernel
    which does not support SCSI.

    SuSE Linux 7.1/SPARC has kernel 2.4.2. You can install lx_sus24
    and then go to /usr/src/linux-2.4.2.SuSE,
    run:
    make menuconfig
    make dep
    make
    make modules

    copy vmlinux to /boot (or gzip it at first to make it smaller), run
    make install_modules and add the new kernel to /boot/silo.conf.
