There is no Netscape version for glibc >= 2.2. This is the disadvantage
of binary only software. The sparc Netscape is very old and linked
against a pre-glibc-2.0 version or so and to maintain compatibility to
pre-versions is not possible.
But you can try Mozilla, a lot of people are using it here without
bigger problems.
