Thorsten,
I used the 7.1 ISO' s from:
ftp://ftp-suse.ruf.uni-freiburg.de/pub/suse/sparc/7.1/iso
I used the default kernel 1st, and then tried the new kernel.
The ones with check boxes during install.
I didn't write them down nor the exact error message.
It did install just fine, but the kernel would panic during boot
with an error like cpu0 frozen at some hex code, and keeps repeating.
also says press L1a for prompt when I do the ok> prompt comes up.
I tried a few times and bailed, but i'd like to try it bad.
Thanks,
Al
