Well, I am up and running on 7.1 from my old RH 6.2 system. Took a little
work. Building perl with CPAN now to get it all updated. Then apache and
tomcat next. I too understand the frustration of installs... Sometimes it
makes you wonder if the "companies" truly test before shipping. Sorry to
say, I am glad I did not pay for my SuSE this time.... (although, if SuSE
is reading this -- I did just purchase for $169.95 the Professional RH 7.1
for my intel boxes.... sorry guys....)
Now, I wonder if I will be able to get reiserFS on sparc going? Hmm..
never tried it. Got it on intel and alpha... Anyone know if it works?
Time to go get some sleep before I start all this in the morning...
