Hi!
This week I've updated the kernel on one of my SS20's and made a mistake.
Don't know what mistake but as a result, SILO wasn't able to boot (stopped
after 'S').
As I usually do on my x86-Boxes I've attached an CDROM an tried to boot the
SuSE-CD to run a resue system. But unexpected the SuSE-Sparc CD does not
have some kind of rescue system or I can find it. I've boot the CDROM with
'yast1'.
The only solution for me, was to attach an external hard disk with a working
linux installation to repair my silo :-(
Is there a rescue system on the SuSE (7.0 and/or 7.1) Sparc-CDs and how can
I boot it?
TIA,
Alex.
