Subject: Blade 100 tftp image for testing

    Hi,

I made a test kernel and tftp boot image for the Blade 100. Since
I don't have access to one, maybe somebody else who has one and
only waits to install Linux on it can give it a try ?

You can find it in ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/kukuk/SPARC:

    k_blade-2.4.4-0.sparc64.rpm
    tftp64-blade.img

    How to install:
Boot the tftp64-blade.img over network. If you have the SuSE Linux
cds, put the first one into the cd-drive, else install over NFS.
It could be, that you will only get the textmode YaST2.

After installation, remove the k_deflt RPM and install the k_blade
RPM. Run "mk_initrd" and I hope everything works now.

I would be interested in any success stories (or who the problems are).

      Thanks,
        Thorsten
