It IS 3.3.6 as it was installed. YaST could not figure out what video
chipset is there (I am totally surprised, since RedHat and Mandrake's KUDZU
finds everything just fine - why SuSe continues to insist on "Yet Another
Tool?". As we all know YaST2 is completely broken... All I was asking is
XF86Config file from Ultra 5. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just don't have enough time in life to waste on installing RedHat 6.2
(fully automatic installation which was available almost 2 years ago!!!) to
save XF86Config and re-install SuSe. Too bad RedHat stopped supporting
SPARC. Are we going BACK in time developing new BROKEN distributions? What's
going on?!!!

So, just checking... are you trying to install X3.3.6 or X4 on it?
You're going to want to use the X3 on there since X4 with SuSE 7.1
doesn't support PCI-based SPARCs.
