Help!!!!!!!!
I am currently trying to install suse-sparc 7.1 on a sparc
ipc, with 36 megs of memory, and a 2 x 1gb drives. I get
to the point where yast starts installing the packages, and after
2 or 3 hours, I get the error message "An error has occurred, during
installation"
When I switch virtual consoles, I see the error message:
"Installation aborted at oct 30, 2001 06:35 localtime"
"Error: Open Output File, Detail: 0, File: SystemCmd.cc, Line: 545"
"/sbin/yast return code is 256 (errno = 4)"
Has anyone seen/had this problem before on the ipc or ipx?
The ipc I am doing the install on is a test bed for now, and will
allow me to determine, if it will be worth my while to install 7.1 and
later, 7.3 on the 3 ipx's, and ss2, I have laying around.
Please send all replies to the mailing list, as I am sure, that
others, as well as myself, may benefit from the answer/insight/advice.
