Subject: [suse-sparc] Any experiences with T-DSL

    Hi,

is there anyone with experiences in german T-DSL?
I've got SuSE 7.1 for Sparc an try to use an
Sparc Station 20 Clone ( Transtec ) as an firewall
    for my pc.

The SS20 includes an additional S-BUS-card for SCSI,
parallel port and net. I use two AUI to BNC Adaptors,
but want to insert not an bnc-connector. I've two
twisted pair transceivers and hope this will be ok.

At first time I want to connect to german T-Online
the system said: "/dev/pppox0 - no such device".
The device exists, of course. Then I'd erased this
and recreated with mknod ( like described in the
    ppp INSTALL-instructions ).

If I then connect it seems to be good but no
connection will result. After some seconds there
will be the same error message ( no such device... ).

I've used ADSL with SuSE 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3, but
only with my pc. Therefore I think that my problems
results of unknowing about sparc topics.

    CU + thanks so much.

    Sirko
