    Hi Jean,

Basically you need a machine running RARP daemon and a NFS server (can
be the same machine). On the RARPD machine, you place the bootimage for
    32bit SPARC (tftp32.img) in a directory (usually "/tftpboot").

Then create a link in the same directory to the image, the link's name is

"<IP-address in hex>.SUN4M"; for IP address 192.168.1.1 it would be
    "C0A80101.SUN4M".

Then fill the rarp's cache with the IP-address / ethernet-address pair
    for the
    SS LX. ("rarp -s <IP-address> <ethernet-address>")

For the NFS server, you have to mount the CD1 of the SuSE distro, and
    export
it for the LX (using the IP address it will have after booting via RARP /
    TFTP)

After all that boot your LX, go into openprom (with Stop-A), at the
    "ok"-prompt type
"boot net nfsroot <IP-address of rarp-machine>:/tftpboot linux". It then
    should down-
load the 32bit boot image and startup with yast's installation screen.
    From there
you (at some point) will have the possibility to chose the install source:
    chose
your NFS server. After that the installation should procede as if it would
    run from
    local resources.

For RARP it seems you need a kernel 2.2.x machine, "rarpd" in this form is
    not
around anymore with kernel 2.4.x; but I have not spent a lot of time
    looking....

Better and deeper explanation of the whole process you can find at
    UltraLinux FAQ:
    http://www.ultralinux.org/faq.html#q_5_10

    Hope it help
    Thomas
