Hi all,
I tried to upgrade a SuSE 7.3 beta1 with a bet2 and a beta3, but I always
failed, when I treid to
Upgrade only the installed packages: yast2 gave me the following error:
"Old Version:
Installed version: 7.3a.0
Update version: 7.3.0
Change disk or cancel the installation"
At this point the only thing I could was cancel, of course.....
Any ideas to circumvent this ?
Cheers,
Thomas
PS: To update from beta1 to beta3 I had to go for NFS-type installation,
otherwise I would get CD-ROM i/o-
errors again, the installation would crash. Updating from beta1 to beta2
was possible with a locally attached
CD-ROM (same as with beta3-try) until the version conflict came up.
