            Hi All,

            Perhaps a stupid question....

            I do know that 2.4.x kernels are not available for people with
    32-bit sun machines, it was on the lists often enough.
            Neither plain vanilla kernels from kernel.org, neither cvs trees
    from vger will compile.

            But the 2.4.2 kernel from the installation cdrom from suse-7.1 was
    installable and booted ok on my sun-lx (also 32-bit).
            So: someone, somewhere (within SuSe) somehow got it working...

            Quite confusing, not?
