Hi,
I'm trying to use cdparanoia but no device is found. I have an Ultra 60
with the normal CDROM and two HDs. Looking in /proc/scsi/scsi everything
is there:
abelem@lis1:~ > more /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: IBM Model: DDRS34560SUN4.2G Rev: S98E
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 01 Lun: 00
Vendor: FUJITSU Model: MAA3182S SUN18G Rev: 1705
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 06 Lun: 00
Vendor: TOSHIBA Model: XM6201TASUN32XCD Rev: 1103
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
----But using cdparanoia I can't find any CD device:
abelem@lis1:~ > cdparanoia -vsQ cdparanoia III release 9.7 (December 13, 1999) (C) 1999 Monty <monty@xiph.org> and Xiphophorus
Report bugs to paranoia@xiph.org http://www.xiph.org/paranoia/
Checking /dev/cdrom for cdrom... Testing /dev/cdrom for cooked ioctl() interface /dev/sr0 is not a cooked ioctl CDROM. Testing /dev/cdrom for SCSI interface No generic SCSI device found to match CDROM device /dev/sr0 .... No cdrom drives accessible to abelem found.
Bus error
Using cdrecord the systems just crashs ! Any idea ???
