Hello,
I try to install suse 7.1 on a very old intel 486sx, and every time I
use the bootfloppies (created from the dvd) I get the message:
"CPU:486
No coprocessor found and no math emulation present
Giving up"
I understand this, but what is the problem? Why does linux need it
anyway? I mean, window95 runs on this machine...
Note that this machine was a present to me, so I don't know exactly what
capacities it has. What I know, is that it has 8Mb.
Thanks a lot,
Rik Janssen
