    I don't know who you ask, but the support people really does not
    know what we are doing here in development.

    The next SuSE Linux SPARC should support the Sun Blades with USB.
    At least I have a Blade 1000 Clone running here. But don't ask me
    when the next release is, I don't know the date yet.
