Subject: [suse-sparc] SUSE 7.2 USB Support Compared with Mandrake 8.0

    Hi All,

I have had a break from Linux for a couple of months, Work Dictated I have
to Use Win 2k. I have copies of Suse from 6.4 on, I did not purchase the
7.2 Version as I had to change across to Windows. I would rate my
capabilities with linux as resonable, not a newbie and not an expert.

I recently came across a cover CD of Mandrake 8.0. I had never used Mandrake
before I still prefer the way SUSE do things, but when i put Mandrake on one
of my old machines, I found it automatically detected and setup my USB Zip
Drive. I Tried Installing again and it automatically also detected, thought
it did not setup my USB ZIP CD Burner.

With the USB Support in the Kernal does SUSE 7.2 also auto detect USB
devices and set them up, will it work with USB Hubs covering multiple
    devices.

    Thanks in advance

    Shane Broomhall
