    Hi All,

Just can't get this to work (See Pablo's message)

    My question is:

Is there anyway to disable/modify the way SuSE autodetects hardware (just
after the kernel loads in the install process) specificially I want to
disable attempts to detect IDE hardware. In my case the system hangs at this
    point.

    I'm sure there's a way, maybe a kernel option or code/config file
modification. But for now, It eludes me. I need help !

This is more than just a show stopper, the show never even sells any
    tickets!

    Many thanks in advance,

    Mike Hilton
