Subject: [suse-sparc] 2.4.19pre3 and nfs problem

    Hi All,

     I have upgraded my kernel 2.4.14 (Suse 7.3 Ultra10) to kernel 2.4.19
pre3. This machine has a mount point(udp) from a Linux NFS server. It
was working perfect on 2.4.14, but it does not work with 2.4.19 pre3. On
heavy nfs load, I have the following errors:

    Can't assign a task slot

nfs: server XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX not responding, still trying

and mount point freezes. Then, there are temporary solutions like
forcing unmount (umount -f) or rebooting the machine.

    anybody has suggestions ?

    Best Regards,
