Subject: [suse-sparc] Installation of Suse Sparc 7.3 on SS5@170Mhz

    Hi, this is the first message for me here; I've been using SusePro7-x86 on a Pc for 2 years and now I'm trying to install Suse7.3-Sparc on my SparcStation5@170Mhz+96MbRam+2GbHd+CDrom; I'm controlling SS5 from a serial terminal.
    The problem is that yast2 cannot detect cd-change and I'm not able to complete the installation: yast2 says that the version serial number of cd 2,3 does not match with that of cd1; I've heard that it's a common problem on SS5@170 but is there a solution?
    does anyone of you succeded in doing this? Let me know, thank u for your help.
