hi all,
when i try to install Suse 7.3 on my Sun SparcStation 20, yast can't format
the partitions.
after i enter the password for root and make a default user account etc,
yast tries to prepair the hd for the installation and then i get the error
message:
- swap-partition /dev/sda2 could not be created [ok]
- impossible to format /dev/sda1 , i can click on continue or try again,
but nothing will work.... and here stops the installation :(
both 1.05GB HDs have a sun disk label or slice, which covers the whole
harddrive.
i am not sure if i need to delete that label or not.
do i need to make changes to the configuration of Silo?
any help would be most appreciated
regards
Chris
