Hi all,
I'm trying to compile mysql 4.0.1-alpha on an ULTRA 5 with SuSE 7.3. [I
know, there is a rpm from SuSE for the 3x Version, but for serveral reasons
I want to compile my own version).
The
./configure --prefix=/foobar --enable-assembler --with-openssl
worky fine and
make
runs good. But I get an error
../innobase/btr/libbtr.a(btr0sea.o): In function `btr_search_guess_on_hash':
btr0sea.o(.text+0x1c58): undefined reference to `btr_search_check_guess'
collect2: ld returned 1 extit status
I even tried this without options and the src.rpm from mysql. I even asked
the mysql lists, but there came no answer.
Has anyone the same problems and resolved them? Or compiled it successfully
without errors?
Thanks.
Kind regards
Jan Albrecht
