    Subject: [suse-sparc] How to generate a tftp.img from scratch

      You need a kernel and a compressed image of a root file system.
    Put the compressed image in the location indicated in
    ${kernelsource}/arch/sparc64/boot/Makefile and run
    "make tftpboot.img" in ${kernelsource}. (${kernelsource}
    is the base directory of the source tree with the
    desired kernel.) make then generates a tftp boot image
    by combining the kernel (${kernelsource}/vmlinux), the
    system map (System.map) and your root filesystem.
    The tftp image ends up in ${kernelsource}/arch/sparc64/boot.

      The main challenge is creating a working root file system.
    I have tried this myself (*), but it's not working perfectly
    yet.
