    Hi,

    may I can help ...

at the OK promt you can change the default monitor console

    At hte ok prompt :

            ok show-displays

            a) /pci@1f,0/pci@5/TSI,gfxp@2
            b) /pci@1f,0/pci@5/SUNW,m64B@1
            c) /pci@1f,0/pci@5/SUNW,Expert3D-Lite@0
            q) NO SELETION

Select the graphics card you want to use as default console display

Enter Selection, q to quit: b

            /pci@1f,0/pci@5/SUNW,m64B@1 has been selected.
Type ^Y (Control-Y) to insert it in the command line.
            e.g. ok nvalias mydev ^Y

Create an alias for the device

            ok nvalias mydev <Control-Y> <ENTER>

Set the device to be the console device

            ok setenv output-device mydev

    Store it

            ok setenv use-nvramrc? true
            ok reset

Now the selected device is your default.

OK, now lets change the dtlogin-stuff :-)

in the directory /usr/dt/config edit the Xservers - file.
    My file looks like :

    -----8<------

    # :0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/X -dev /dev/fb0 -dev
    /dev/fb1
    # See the Xsun.1 and Xserver.1 man pages for additional options of
    # interest.
    #
    ############################################################################
    ####
    # :0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun :0 -nobanner
       :0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun -dev /dev/fb1
    -nobanner

    # for use whith dual output, where fb0 is onboard an fb1 is second
    # :0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun -dev /dev/fb1 -dev
    /dev/fb0 -nobanner

    ----->8------

You have to fix your device. I do not know what Elite3D use. Must be like
    /dev/somewhat :-)
Maybe you can find out more whith afbconfig...

    Thats all.

btw, an clean way to remove old entries from the /dev /devices is devfsadm.
Running devfsadm removes the old entries and adds new one to the /dev
    /devices tree.

    Hope I could help you.
