    Alvaro:

As far as I know the Ethernet controller on an ULTRA-5 is on the
motherboard, so I am not sure how I would reseat that.

We are running 2.4.14, or whatever the latest kernel from SuSE
    (AFAIK).

It worked fine with Solaris 2.6! Although the machine was just
    moved a few weeks ago.

    Very Respectfully,

After this gets printed out, the card is reseted properly? I mean, does
    it keeps on working again?

I've seen a similar error printed out, but AFAIK, it is a hardware
issue. It also happend on the same box running solaris 2.6. After this
error occurred, the card was reseted properly and it kept on working
    fine.

PS: What kernel version are you running?
