Yes, after reading your email, I'd have to concur. Now that I think about
it, I did try using Gnome as well some time ago and had the same problem.
Also, unlike Don, I _did_ see the same weirdness under v7.1....
I should also mention that I've swapped out the mouse, at one point guessing
it might be the culprit; it was not. Same behavior on either my optical or
mechanical mouse!
I can't believe no one else has seen this; maybe folks are giving up (sadly)
on SuSE after being discouraged by this!
