    You are lucky to have a Field Engineering Manual. Before your message,
    I have never heard HME refer to "Hundred Megabit Ethernet". I suspect,
    then, that the engineers referred to the chipset by its internal
    nickname
    and that reference leaked out of Sun, and that "Hundred Megabit" is the
    Marketing name (cf. "Comet" and "Scorpio" and other engineering names
    for models of VAX CPU that appear in comments in various DCL script
    files
    that ship with the OS).
