Hi,
Today i bought a secondhand HD for my SparcStation 5. It is 9.1 GB and it is
recognised by YaST2 when setting up. However when YaST2 starts the real
setup procedure, to be more precise, fdisk it fails. I think this is because
the disk lacks a Sun disk label?? Does anybody know how to generate such a
label? I tried installing Solaris 8 but this also was no succes, it failed
completely. I also heard of people first setting up RedHat or some older
version of Solaris just to set a Sun disk label.
Anybody?
Thanks in advance,
Bob
