There is no registered version of SuSE for Sparc you can only download the
ISO images, AFAIK it is unsupported outside the mail list.
My problem was trying to get a English UK install on an American system, US
Keyboard, so UK English and UK Keyboard hung up the install, graphic and
Text.
I solved the problem by setting US English to go with the US Keyboard.
Reading the other posts in the list it could be a Kernel issue, The Ultra
uses the 2.4 Kernel and the older sparcs use 2.2. But I am not sure that the
kernel booted for the install process is 2.4. This would indicate that
either Ultras and the 2.2 Kernel have an issue with the Keyboard I/O or 2.4
and Ultra sparcs have a problem.
I will have a go at Changing to UK English now I have got a running system,
hopefully it won't kill the system.
