    Could you elaborate? I am using unmodified ISOs from SuSE (unless my
    CD-burning process is hosed in a way that I can't see).

    Would this error be generated if the hardware were not recognized by the
    OS? This doesn't seem to be the case because all indications are that the
    disk is recognized. Thanks for any additional tips.
