I've been having problems installing Suse 7.3 on my Sunblade 100. It locks
up while copying files from CD. This happens at different parts of the
install.
I have finally installed sues manually, and can make the problem reoccur by
copying the RPMS off the CD to the HD. Instant system lock.
So my guess,
1. Linux driver or kernel problem
2. Bad hardware
I have no problems installing Solaris from CD, but this leads me to think of
a driver/kernel problem.
Other than that no problems, other than kde crashs sometimes.
Any ideas? If bad hardware I want to get it replaced while under warranty.
Thanks,
